Financial Aid FAQ’s June 3, 2009

As the school year starts to winds down, kids are starting to look forward to the carefree days of summer. But this is not a carefree time for parents of collegebound students. All they have to look forward to figuring out how to pay the college bills.

And there’s nothing hazy, lazy and carefree about applying for college aid. From the endless forms to fill out to SAT scores, exam scores, AP classes, tax and money issues, it’s one giant stress test.

We just added a new article to the library that will hopefully take some of the stress and strain off. It covers the six most important things that you must know as this school year comes to an end. And answers the most common financial aid questions we’re hearing from clients, including:

  • Is it too late to ask for funding?
  • Do financial aid forms have to be filed every year for every child?
  • Are there income limits for financial aid applications?
  • How much of this financial aid jargon do I have to understand?
