Getting into college is a scary process. It consists of several applications, essays, SAT scores, recommendations, etc. But there is one step in the college process that can be particularly intimidating for a young person graduating high school: the college interview.

I asked Dolores Dell, who’s a former admission representative at a well-known New Jersey college, to share some pointers on how to give a great college interview — an interview that makes you stand out from the rest of the pack.

Her answers were so good that we turned the interview into an article, titled, “Tips on How to Ace a College Interview,” and added the article to the library.

“There are a few things you can do to ensure a successful interview”, says Dolores Dell. “You need to be punctual, dress appropriately and be open and honest with your admissions representative and also, write down questions!”
